Ride home for Friday, 11 January

Took my bike in at lunch as there was a grinding noise coming from the rear wheel, possibly caused by the bodge job I did to get the axle from my old hub to fit the axle on the new wheel. Mike checked it out and readjusted the axle and repacked the wheel but couldn't find anything obvious, since it's still going on I guess it's probably the bottom bracket that's on its way out - it's about time it was replaced anyway.

Went to the Halifax Cycle Coalition board meeting after work where we tried to figure out what needs to be done to get off the ground. Finally got out of there around 9, the worst of the rain had eased off but it was still fairly nasty out - especially with rivers of water on the roads.
