Ride #2 for Saturday, 10 July

I'd left my mountain bike at the office on Friday along with the car rack. My wife drove me down and took the bike rack back. I went over to MEC and picked up a pair of Conti Top Touring 2000 tyres, a new pair of grips and a Park Tool chain cleaner. I bungee corded the tyres onto my rack - it's amazing how much clearance cars behind gave me as a result! I also went into CycleSmith on the way home on impulse and picked up a new, wider handlebar for my road bike. It just fit in my backpack, sticking out about 6 inches. I got some odd looks from pedestrians on the fire trail!
