Ride into work for Monday, 18 July

Nice ride in, ride up to the point where I hit Spring Garden Road and my axle snapped, rendering my left pedal useless. I walked in the rest of the way rather glumly. I took the bike into Idealbikes and the mechanic reckoned it was a warranty repair on the grounds that "it shouldn't fail like that!", so with any luck I should be getting it back this afternoon, repaired for free! Hurrah for Idealbikes, the best bike shop in Halifax!
