Ride into work for Monday, 23 May
No ride for Friday as I picked up a lurgy from the sprog and worked from home.
Nice ride in today, it actually seemed like winter for a change. We're supposed to get snow starting this afternoon, 5-10cm overnight. Wednesday is "periods of snow or rain" but for the rest of the week it's all snow. That means the temperatures going to be going up again, but hopefully the fact that we're getting snow means it's going to cool off more over the next month or so. I can hope, anyway...
Distance logged: 12.696km
Time: 35:20
Average speed: 21.6km/hr
Max speed: 54.1 km/hr
Temperature: -9C, overcast
Cumulative distance: 328.877km
Cumulative cost per km: $0.49
Monthly distance: 328.877km
Monthly cost per km: $0.49

What does 'picked up a lurgy from the sprog' mean? Is that Nova Scotian slang?
It's English slang - a lurgy is a general non-specific illness (runny nose, sore throat and a mild fever in this case) and a
sprog is a young child - in this case, my son, who brought the lurgy home from school with him.
This is my contribution to the wonders of the Internet, where you can learn at least one new completely useless fact every day... :-)
