When I got home I discovered that I had well and truly cocked up the brake block installation on the rear, and both of the brake blocks had come adrift and were rubbing against the tyre, so badly that the tyre had worn through to the cords. After supper I went to check and I had a flat tyre, so I decided to give up on the tyre and get a new one instead...
