Ride for Sunday, 24 July

Went out for a ride with the bike trailer with Rowan. Did the usual loops around the pond, which he enjoyed as usual. Went exploring around the Halifax Mainland Commons, which turned out to be some fairly rough terrain - the bike trailer coped with it pretty well. My only problem was getting stuck in the bridge across the stream that feeds into the pond, which I've never gone across before (it was only opened fairly recently, I think); there was about 2mm of clearance between the tyres on the trailer and the railing on the bridge, so I ended up unhitching from the bike and hauling the trailer through by brute force, which Rowan thought was pretty amusing...
