Maintenance day

I cleaned up my bike today on the off-chance that the wind will die down enough for me to get out for a ride tomorrow. The accumulated gunk from the past week of snow, salt, rain, mud and sand made an absolute mess of my bike, I went through 10 cotton buds cleaning out between the cogs on my drivetrain. I also went through 4 ice-cream tubs of dirty water between cleaning my frame, cleaning the wheels, cleaning the brakepads, cleaning the rings and cleaning the chain. It took several applications of WD40 before the chain was clean enough to put into storage, I thought I was going to have to soak it for the week in alcohol to get it clean!
