Ride into work for Thursday, 17 March

Tried the jogging pants and rain pants combo, it's not a winner - I arrived at work with sweat dripping out from my ankles, not a great way to start the day! I suppose it's an excuse for a visit to MEC, at least.

I think that I may have found the final problem with the derailleur - the friction shifter wasn't quite tightened enough, so after a while it was slipping which meant that the gear would shift. I tightened it this morning and it seemed to hold fine on the way in; the acid test is the way home with the uphill part, though...
