Ride home for Thursday, 26 January

Bit of a nasty ride home, it started out with hail, which faded away after a while to intermittent snow flurries, and I had a fair bit of wind to contend with - Environment Canada reckoned it was 39km/hr winds with 54km/hr gusts, but it felt like more than that. The fire trail is starting to ice over from all the people walking on it, unless we get a fair bit of snow to cover it up it looks like it might be off limits for a while, since it's so rutted.

On the upside, the forecast for tomorrow is -10C, which is just about right. The forecast for the weekend is sun and cloud with a high of 3C, so with any luck I might be able to get out for a longer ride.
